Accommodation: If you want to stay over night, Hotel Weitzer offers a special rate for Austrochip attendees (indicate "Austrochip 2014 attendee" during booking to get the special rate). The costs for a Classic single room are 93 € including breakfast and 108 € for a double-bed room. The offer is valid until 6 weeks prior to the conference date (Check-in: 14:00; Check-out: 11:00).
Parking:There is a parking garage right next to the Hotel that can be used. The parking fees for one hour is 2 € and 14 € for 24 hours.
How to reach the venue?:
You can reach the venue by car using the highways A2 or A9 (there are several exists for Graz). Follow Google maps.
If you travel by plane, you can use the airport shuttle service. A taxi from and to the airport costs about 15-20 €. If you travel by train, leave at the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). Use any of the following trams lines: #6 (towards St. Peter), line #7 (towards St. Leonhard), line #4 (towards Krenngasse) or line #1 (towards Mariatrost) and exit at the Südtirolerplatz/Kunsthaus station. From there it is a 2 minutes walk to the conference venue.

After the workshop, there will be a social dinner at the conference venue starting at 6pm at the lobby Hotel Weitzer. There will be a delicious fingerfood buffet and drinks. This social event provides you with more opportunities to network, meet the speakers, and discuss your interests with others.
We will start at 6pm, right after the workshop. This gives attendees who plan to leave quite early, the possibility to join the event.
